a) Information You Provide Directly When you request a quote or use the Services, we may collect:

  2. Your service address or approximate location (e.g., city/state)
  3. Project details you describe or select (service type, dimensions, finish, materials, timing, budget preferences)
  4. Photos you upload of your project or property
  5. Messages you send to Providers through the in-app portal
  6. Payment information, where the Services include in-app payment processing

b) Information Collected Automatically When you browse the Sites, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  1. IP address and approximate location
  2. Browser type and device information
  3. Pages viewed, time spent on the Site, and interactions with the AI quote tool and forms

c) Information From Providers and Third Parties We may receive information from Providers you are matched with (such as job notes, photos, invoices, and status updates), payment processors, and advertising or analytics partners.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  1. Generate AI-powered price estimates for your project;
  2. Match you with certified Providers in your area;
  3. Facilitate secure, in-app communication between you and Providers;
  4. Process invoices and, where applicable, payments;
  5. Maintain your project history and, where offered, your Home Record;
  6. Operate, maintain, and improve the Sites and Services;
  7. Communicate with you about your project, account, or requests;
  8. Send marketing communications where permitted, and in accordance with your preferences;
  9. Facilitate dispute resolution using documented project records;
  10. Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse;
  11. Comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

Where applicable data protection law requires it, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent, the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (e.g., matching you with a Provider), our legitimate interests in operating and improving our platform, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  1. Providers, including your project details, contact information (once you choose to proceed), and photos, in order to generate quotes and complete work;
  2. Service providers, such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, marketing, and customer communication vendors, who process data on our behalf;
  3. Advertising and tracking partners, to measure Site activity and marketing performance, as described in our Cookies Policy;
  4. Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ProofSeal, our users, or others;
  5. Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Because ProofPros and ProofSeal are both operated by ProofSeal, Inc., information collected through one brand's Site may be used across both brands and shared internally as needed to operate the Services.

We retain personal information, including your Home Record, project history, photos, and messages, for as long as necessary to provide the Services, support future maintenance or resale reference (where you choose to use the Home Record feature), comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  2. Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
